Finally I got myself a new MacBook Pro 13″ to replace my Mac mini which sold to my friend. I bought this MBP at the price of RM4499. I been waiting for years for an Apple portable computer cause all these years I been using Mac mini. It was great being my baby for few years. Now finally she been replaced with this new MBP.

This MBP weight about 2Kg. Not that heavy compare to normal notebook which weight from 2 -3 Kg.
Here are the specification that I bought :
- Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz with 3MB L2 cache (1066MHz FSB)
- 2GB DDR3 RAM
- 160GB Hard Disk
- NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory
- 13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with support for millions of colors
- Built-In AirPort (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Gigabit Ethernet
- 8x slot-loading SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
- Ports for :
- MagSafe power port
- Gigabit Ethernet port
- One FireWire 800 port (up to 800 Mbps)
- Mini DisplayPort
- Two USB 2.0 ports (up to 480 Mbps)
- SD card slot
- Audio in/out
- Kensington lock slot
- Built-in full-size backlit keyboard with 78 (U.S.) or 79 (ISO) keys, including 12 function keys and 4 arrow keys (inverted “T” arrangement)
- Multi-Touch trackpad for precise cursor control; supports two-finger scrolling, pinch, rotate, swipe, three-finger swipe, four-finger swipe, tap, double-tap, and drag capabilities
- For more information, please visit http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/specs-13inch.html
Here are the unboxing for my MBP 13″.

Inside there are MacBook Pro 13″, Cables, MagSafe Adapters, Clean Cloth, User Guides & Restore Discs.

Apple rename the name of MacBook Unibody ”MacBook” to “MacBook Pro” just because it has the same Unibody, Glass Display with the 15″ & 17″ MacBook Pro.

Black Keyboard with Backlit

Backlit Keyboard’s Light is on (look nice with the LCD Reflections)

MacBook Pro’s TrackPad which support Multi-Touch Gestures

Ports (MagSafe, Ethernet, Firewire 800, Mini DisplayPort, USB 2.0, SD Slot and Audio In/Out). For Audio In/Out, you can switch the In/Out in the Sound setting in System Preferences.

Battery Indicator

SuperDrive

The thing that impress me is the battery life with can up to 8 hours. It’s depend how you use. Imagine you use computer for 8 hours, what thing will you do with it for a notebook.

I’m looking to get the iPad. Does anyone have any recommendations on which memory would best suit me if I wanted to watch a few movies?
